Belly Cast

Yesterday we made a belly cast. I was in charge of sitting still while Joe worked with the strips of pre-plastered gauze. Duke would squirm like crazy every time a new strip of cool wet gauze was placed on my belly. I guess he could feel the coolness? I think spray painting it gold or bronze will make for a fun look!

Down the rabbit hole...

We're officially over 35 weeks along, but we've also been tracking a week ahead on most benchmarks, so we think of it as 36 weeks. In one more week the baby will be officially 'full term' but it still could be 3 weeks or more before he makes his grand entrance.

Last night Holly wore some pretty comical clothing, I thought I would share...

From the front, she hardly even looks pregnant!

But, from the side things change dramatically!
What Holly really reminded me of was a certain 50's Disney character(s)... Don't worry she knows I'm posting this and totally agrees...

Baby-Q

Yesterday we had our 'baby-Q' as a nice kickoff to the adventure that awaits. It was great to see everyone as we have been decidedly less social these past few months, and we thank everyone for coming!
Luckily the weather was good, we're just beginning to feel like it will get to be Summer at some point.
