Sunset vs. Sunrise
I have always thought that sunrises are far more spectacular than sunsets. Fortunately for me our house faces due east. We get to watch the sun creep over the mountains and nearby hills each morning and it makes for a wonderful start to the day. We are slowly moving in and deciding where everything should go. It's a slow process with Henry taking up most of my energy during the day. We are all sleeping really well at the new house. Henry has started sleeping for 10 -12 hours straight. I just have to stop waking up at 3am in a panic. Our doctor reassured us last week that his 19lbs 8oz is plenty enough to "sustain him through the night". Henry, Butters and I have been taking in the local wildlife in the mornings. We have had Deer, Hungarian Partridges, either Elk or Moose tracks, and neighborhood dogs (might as well be wild) in the yard as of late. The new kitchen has reignited my desire to cook complex and interesting meals. The weather has been awfully gloomy this winter. Today the afternoon sun peeked out for a bit and I felt as though I hadn't seen it in years.

Come sled with us...
Yes, this is our backyard.... not figuratively... literally. Come check it out and visit us. We've got plenty of room and two sleds, anyone want to race?
Back from a haitus...
Sorry it's been so long... we know... and got all of your demands for new posts. Henry has a hungry group of fans, and we apologize for cutting everyone off.
First off, Henry is getting his two bottom teeth. It makes for a very funny grin.

Secondly, we moved... that's the reason for the blackout. We weren't even really looking for a new house, but when one comes up that can't be passed on, you gotta leap some times in life. This new house has some neat features such as a sunkin play room for wild kids to be wild, direct access to trails, a backyard sled hill! and still good proximity to town. With the housing market the way it is, we really couldn't pass up this opportunity. Anyone want to buy an orange house?
In other news, Henry is going to water babies and splashing up a storm, and generally getting more coordinated every day, though a full crawl still remains elusive.
