Campin'
We took Henry camping for the first time this weekend! We had a great time with our friends and Henry is excited to go camping again with 'we-oo' and 'mag-an'.

We took a walk up to Palisade Falls yesterday. He wanted to ride in the backpack on the way up, then run downhill all on his own. That was a bit scary to watch! Henry is yelling, "Come on!" to Joe in the top picture. He was really excited to the see the waterfall and wanted to get closer. We stopped at the reservoir on the way out so Henry could throw rocks in the water. It's one of his favorite pastimes.

Spring or Summer?
We've had a couple if weeks of great warm weather, with a few days in the low 80's. Henry has taken full advantage and has been outside as much as possible.
I've (joe) been taking him to school in the bike trailer too, which he loves. Here Henry is ready for school lunchbox and sippy cup in hand.

Spring has Sprung
We did a big family bike ride to Bozeman beach today. There is a section of trail that has been closed for two years as a freeway bridge was being replaced. With the exception of a short street section we can ride the 5 miles there completely on the trail system. Here is Henry at the 'beach'

Spring time
A six month shoulder season
Finding fun, age appropriate, indoor activities has been quite challenging. Burying Henry under the blocks is his fave!

You can see finger painting was a messy hit! Yes, those are garbage cans on top of our counter. Henry loves to throw stuff away, so we have to keep all the trash bins out of reach.
