Neither rain, nor hail, will bring this baby out!

Holy hail balls Batman!

We got whomped today with a petty huge hail storm. Holly was beginning to have some pretty strong contractions right before it started and we were holding out hope it would be the straw that broke the camels back. No such luck. Duke is holding firm.

Due Date...

Today's the day and still no Duke. Grrrr. We'll be heading to the doctor in a few hours to find out if any progress has happened over the last week. It's full on summer now, and it would be nice to not be pregnant any longer!

I just wanted to post a quick note... Duke is still in the oven.

Entering the home stretch

Well... we are about two weeks out until the due date. I have a feeling that Duke is happy, comfortable, and has about zero intentions of coming out anytime soon. So, we figured we would keep posting some pictures of my belly, since there is no actual baby to see yet.

As you can see, the garden beds are set with seed, but nothing is really coming up yet. The flowers in front are coming along. Thanks to my mom and Yvonne, there are some lovely new perennials in the front beds and potted plants on the porch that are looking good!
